Hongda Zhong

Hongda Zhong is an Assistant Professor of Finance and Managerial Economics at the University of Texas at Dallas (UT-Dallas), affiliated with the Naveen Jindal School of Management. His research focuses on financial and economic theory, spanning broad areas such as corporate finance, econometrics, and managerial economics. He holds a PhD from the University of Minnesota (2015) and a BA from Peking University (2008).

Professional recognitions include the ESRC New Investigator Grant and the 2018 Best Paper Award at the Wellington Finance Summit. He is actively involved in organizations like the American Finance Association, Western Finance Association, and the Finance Theory Group.
