Homeira Shayesteh is a Senior Lecturer in Construction, Architecture and BIM at Middlesex University's Faculty of Science and Technology. She serves as Programme Leader for BSc Architectural Technology and contributes to MSc programmes in Building Information Modelling.
Her research explores sustainable built environments, digital construction technologies, and climate-resilient design. She integrates UN Sustainable Development Goals into engineering education and leads pedagogic research initiatives.
Notable projects include the MDX Living Pavilion, which received recognition for teaching and sustainability excellence. She chairs the university's UNSDG in Curriculum teaching group and serves on the Environmental Steering Committee.
