Holman Tse

Holman Tse is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Literature, Language, and Writing at St. Kate's, specializing in linguistic research on sound change phenomena in multilingual environments. His current work examines English phonological influences on Cantonese vowel patterns among Toronto-based heritage speakers.

Teaching responsibilities include:

• Core linguistics and sociolinguistics courses
• Global Search for Justice curriculum focusing on language rights

He holds graduate degrees in Linguistics and Anthropology with TESL certification and serves as Secretary for St. Kate's Phi Beta Kappa chapter, promoting liberal arts education.
