Holly Wiberg is an Assistant Professor of Operations Research and Public Policy at the Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy, Carnegie Mellon University. She is also affiliated with the CMU-NIST AI Measurement Science & Engineering Cooperative Research Center (AIMSEC) and the Block Center for Technology and Society. Her work bridges optimization and machine learning to address critical healthcare challenges.

Research Focus:
Holly's research leverages advanced optimization and machine learning techniques to enhance healthcare delivery and outcomes. She develops prescriptive frameworks and interpretable models to enable data-driven decision-making in clinical and operational settings. Her applied work spans oncology, transplantation, pediatric trauma, and COVID-19, often in collaboration with leading medical organizations in the US and Europe.
