Holly Evans is a Lecturer and Topic Coordinator in the Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology program at Flinders University. Her research focuses on 'Exercise is Medicine' in exercise oncology, particularly using digital tools to deliver personalized exercise prescriptions for individuals with metastatic prostate cancer. She also provides clinical expertise in exercise oncology, neurological conditions, and musculoskeletal health.
Evans holds a Bachelor of Health Sciences (First Class Honours) and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Human Movement) from the University of South Australia, alongside a Graduate Diploma in Clinical Exercise Science. She has received notable awards, including the 2021 Northern Communities Health Foundation Prize and the 2018 Australian Government Research Training Program Scholarship.
Her work involves developing tools like ExerciseGuide, a web-based platform for exercise prescription, and evaluating its usability and efficacy in clinical settings. She coordinates topics such as EXSC9003B and EXSC9003A (Exercise Management in Special Populations).
Research interests span personalized interventions, telehealth applications, and patient-centered care in oncology and chronic disease management.
