Holly Dunn is an Assistant Professor in the School of Interdisciplinary Global Studies at the University of South Florida (Tampa). She holds a PhD in Political Science from the University of Minnesota (2018), an MA from Carleton University (2013), and a BA in Political Science and Human Rights (2010). Her research focuses on post-conflict justice, legal pluralism, and ethical research methodologies in conflict-affected regions like the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Dunn has authored a book (Routledge, 2022) and numerous peer-reviewed articles exploring legal consciousness and gender justice in post-conflict societies.

Her work bridges comparative law, conflict studies, and qualitative research methods. Her research emphasizes how legal reforms intersect with local practices in conflict zones, particularly examining gendered harms and vigilante justice.
