Holly Carlson is an Associate Professor of Nursing at Jessup University, affiliated with the School of Natural & Applied Sciences. She has been a Registered Nurse since 2013 with extensive clinical experience across hospital, skilled nursing, mental health, outpatient, and home health settings. She holds certifications as a Certified Nurse Educator, Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse, and Certified Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nurse. Holly is actively involved in the Pacific Coast Region of the Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse Society and is pursuing a Doctor of Ministry at Kairos University, focusing on building resilience in nurses.

Her current Doctor of Ministry project explores strategies to enhance resilience among nursing professionals, reflecting her commitment to supporting healthcare practitioners.
Professional Involvement:
Holly is engaged in the Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse Society’s Pacific Coast Region and has been involved in clinical education since 2018 and prelicensure nursing education since 2022. Beyond academia, she contributes to her church community and pursues hobbies like crocheting and family time.
