Dr. Holly Beers is an Associate Professor of Religious Studies at Westmont College. She holds a Ph.D. from the London School of Theology, following degrees from North Central University and Bethel Seminary. Her research focuses on Luke-Acts, Colossians, Philemon, Old Testament usage in the New Testament, Greco-Roman magic/demons, and pentecostal hermeneutics. She co-edits a Baker Academic commentary series for pentecostals/charismatics and is authoring the Colossians/Philemon volume in this series.
