Holger Stark

Holger Stark is a Professor in Molecular Electron Cryomicroscopy at the University of Göttingen and Director at the Max-Planck-Institute for Multidisciplinary Sciences. His research focuses on 3D structural determination of macromolecular complexes using cryo-EM, including spliceosomes, ribosomes, and metabolic enzymes. He leads the Structural Dynamics department, developing novel methodologies for complex stabilization and computational image analysis.
