Holger Pötzsch

Holger Pötzsch is a Professor of Media and Documentation Science at the Department of Language and Culture, UiT The Arctic University of Norway. He leads the ENCODE research group and co-edits the Eludamos: Journal for Computer Game Culture. His work intersects media studies, game studies, and critical analysis of digital technologies.

• Research interests: Critical media literacies, war films/games, algorithmic governance, border studies, and AI ethics.
• Recent publications focus on ecocritical games, critical AI literacy, and ethical implications of immersive journalism.
