Hoa Nguyen

Hoa Nguyen is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Bergen Offshore Wind Center (BOW), University of Bergen, Norway. She holds a Ph.D. in Computational Mechanics from TU Darmstadt (2023) and M.Sc./B.Sc. degrees in Civil Engineering from TU Munich and the University of Applied Science for Engineering and Economics Berlin. She also explores advanced interface models for thin layers using complex variable-based asymptotic analysis.

Her recent work includes robust formulations for nonlinear shear- and torsion-free rods, spectral analysis for locking phenomena, and improved mass lumping techniques in IGA.
