Hira Gulshan is a Teaching Fellow in Accounting at Aston Business School, part of Aston University's College of Business and Social Sciences. She joined in December 2020 after serving as a Visiting Lecturer at Birmingham City University Business School. Her roles include teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in sustainability, financial accounting, and international business management.

Her research focuses on sustainability, CSR, institutional logics, and management controls. Awards include SEDA Recognition as a Learning Facilitator and Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). She actively engages with industry professionals, inviting guest speakers to her classes and organizing sustainability-focused events like 'Careers in Sustainability in Accounting.'
