Dr. Hina Aslam is an Andre Hoffmann Research Fellow at the Australian National University (ANU) College of Law and the World Economic Forum, focusing on circular economy policy, embedded emissions accounting, net zero trade, and industrial decarbonization. With over 8 years of experience in research and advocacy on environment, climate and energy issues, she brings significant expertise to her current role.
Her academic credentials include a PhD in Ecology from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, a certificate in Sustainable Finance from the University of Oxford, and an MS in Environmental Science and Engineering from Beijing Institute of Technology. Prior to joining ANU, she held research positions at the Sustainable Development Policy Institute in Pakistan and served as a consultant for the World Bank Group.
