Hilarie Sit is a Postdoctoral Researcher at Brown University’s Data Science Institute (DSI) and Department of Earth, Environmental & Planetary Sciences (DEEPS). She holds the Provost’s STEM Postdoctoral Fellowship, focusing on scientific machine learning applications in climate science under Prof. Karianne Bergen. Prior to joining Brown in July 2023, she worked as a full-stack developer at eCornell. She earned her Ph.D. in Remote Sensing at Cornell University under Dr. Christopher Earls.
Research Interests: Her work integrates machine learning with climate science, environmental data analysis, and geospatial technologies. She explores computational methods to address challenges in climate modeling and environmental monitoring.
