Hichem Snoussi

Hichem Snoussi is Full Professor (Classe Exceptionnelle) at the University of Technology of Troyes, serving as Deputy Director of LIST3N and leading the M2S research group. His research spans machine learning, computer vision, nuclear imaging, and sensor networks. He co-founded two startups: Damavan Imaging (nuclear Compton cameras) and AQUILAE (computer vision).

Dr. Snoussi leads major projects including RailMon (€8M railway infrastructure monitoring) and DreamScanner (€1.5M nuclear imaging). He has supervised 19 PhD graduates and currently mentors 7 doctoral candidates. His research output includes 120+ international journal articles and 15 patents. Key awards include the 2023 French Presidency Prize for Made in France Technology.
