معرفی
Prof. Heyno Garbe is a faculty member in the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Leibniz University Hannover, affiliated with the Institute for Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering and Measurement Technology. His research focuses on electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), transient signal analysis, and measurement techniques. He leads projects on TEM cells, wind turbine electromagnetic emissions, and system vulnerability against intentional electromagnetic interference (IEMI).
Key research interests include:
- Development and validation of test methods for EMC standards
- Coupling mechanisms of transient electromagnetic fields
- Electromagnetic interference in critical infrastructure and wireless systems
Recent work explores:
- Field inhomogeneity in TEM cells
- Influence of wind turbines on navigation systems
- Risk analysis of IEMI threats using fuzzy-logic approaches
He collaborates with industry and EU projects, such as the STRUCTURES initiative for critical infrastructure assessment. His lab develops test rigs for unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) susceptibility testing and advanced measurement setups for transient signal characterization.
