Hervé Jacquemin is a Professor at the Faculty of Law, University of Namur, specializing in Consumer Law, Business Law, and eCommerce Law. He holds a Doctorate in Legal Sciences (2009) from the University of Namur and teaches Business Law and eCommerce Law. He directs the evening Bachelor program at the Law Faculty and practices as an attorney-at-law with ULYS Law Firm. His research focuses on digital contractual formalism, consumer protection in digital environments, and platform moderation policies.

Research Interests: Digital contract formalism, consumer protection mechanisms in digital markets, legal frameworks for online platforms, smart contracts regulation, and implementation of EU consumer protection directives in national jurisdictions.

- Study on eIDAS regulation implementation in Belgium (ongoing)
- Analysis of EU proposals on late payment regulations (2024)
Professional Roles: Editor-in-Chief of Revue du Droit des Technologies de l'Information (R.D.T.I.), member of editorial boards for multiple legal journals, and invited professor at UCL.
