Hernan G Garcia is an Associate Professor at the University of California, Berkeley, affiliated with the Department of Molecular & Cell Biology and the Department of Physics. His research focuses on uncovering the predictive rules governing developmental programs in single cells, integrating DNA sequence analysis with physics, synthetic biology, and real-time control technologies in fruit fly embryos.
