Prof. Dr. Hermann Kreutzmann is a Professor at the Free University of Berlin, affiliated with the Institute of Geographical Sciences under the Department of Geosciences. His research focuses on Geographical Development Research, Political Geography, and High Mountain Research in South and Central Asia.

Kreutzmann's work explores pastoralism, water management, and climate change impacts in mountainous regions.
