Hergys Rexha is a Postdoctoral Researcher at Åbo Akademi University's Faculty of Science and Engineering, specializing in the Department of Information Technology. His work contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals related to sustainable shipping and energy efficiency. Rexha has been involved in projects such as FuSE: Future Shipping Electrified (2023-2025) and FUDGE-5G: Fully Disintegrated private networks for 5G verticals (2020-2023), focusing on AI-driven solutions for maritime logistics and 5G networks.
His research spans Artificial Intelligence, Telecommunication Networks, Energy Efficiency, and Edge Computing.
