Herbert Sperber

Herbert Sperber is a Professor at the University of Applied Sciences Nürtingen-Geislingen. He serves as the Academic Director of the part-time Bachelor of Business Administration program and is the Managing Director of the Institute of Economics and Finance (IWF). With a background in economics, he earned his Diplom-Volkswirt degree in 1979 from Goethe University Frankfurt and the University of Mannheim, followed by a doctorate (Dr. rer. publ.) from the German University of Administrative Sciences in Speyer in 1984.

Prior to joining HfWU in 1991, he held senior roles at BMW AG in Munich and Dresdner Bank AG in Frankfurt. His research interests span Economics, Finance, and Business Administration.
