Herbert H. Klement

Prof. Herbert H. Klement is a distinguished academic affiliated with ETF Leuven, where he held the position of Professor of Old Testament. His research and teaching focus on critical biblical interpretation, particularly exploring challenging narratives in the Old Testament and their theological implications. He has engaged with interdisciplinary themes such as disability, neurodiversity, and the practice of hospitality in wartime contexts, reflecting a commitment to contemporary theological discourse.

Prof. Klement’s contributions include organizing and participating in academic events like the Summer Colloquium and Doctoral Colloquia, as well as delivering a farewell lecture titled GOD in the Old Testament and Christian Faith in September 2019.
