Prof. Henry Keazor is a Professor of Modern and Contemporary Art History at the University of Heidelberg (since 2012) and a Senior Fellow at the Centre for Advanced Study “Access to Cultural Goods in Digital Change” in Münster. Previously, he taught at Saarland University (2008–2012). He holds a doctorate from Heidelberg University (1996) and habilitation (2005) on the Carracci’s painting reforms, supported by a Heisenberg Fellowship (DFG). He is a full member of the Heidelberg Academy of Sciences and Humanities since 2015.

- French/Italian Baroque Painting
- Early Modern Discovery of America’s Visual Narratives
- Contemporary Architecture (e.g., Jean Nouvel)
- Visual Art’s Intersections with Literature/Media
- Art Forgery Studies (founded Heidelberg’s first university forgery collection in 2021)
- Digitization of Cultural Heritage
