With a 22-year U.S. Army career, he specialized in network security and information assurance, including vulnerability assessments and defending state-of-the-art networks. Post-retirement, he worked at Verizon Business in enterprise security solutions and taught at Colorado Technical University for over six years across undergraduate, master's, and doctoral programs.
