Henry Bryant, Ph.D., is a Research Professor in the Department of Agricultural Economics at Texas A&M University, affiliated with the College of Agriculture & Life Sciences. He holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas and a Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics from Texas A&M University. His research focuses on agricultural policy, commodity marketing, risk management, and causal inference. Prior to his faculty role, he conducted postdoctoral research at the University of California, Berkeley.
Key research areas include renewable energy policy, agricultural risk management tools, and the economic implications of federal programs like SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program).
