Henrik Saxén

Henrik Saxén is a Professor at the Faculty of Science and Engineering, Process and Systems Engineering Laboratory of Åbo Akademi University. His work focuses on hydrogen-based sustainable steelmaking, blast furnace optimization, and metallurgical process modeling. With over 222 publications and 15 ongoing/finished projects since 2003, Saxén leads initiatives like FFS2 (Fossil-free Steelmaking) and IRONH2 (Hydrogen Reduction of Iron).
