Henrik Bachmann is an Associate Professor at the Graduate School of Mathematics, Nagoya University, with a research focus on multiple zeta values (MZVs), their q-analogues, and connections to modular forms and Eisenstein series. He previously held positions including JSPS Postdoctoral Fellow at Nagoya University, Guest Scientist at the Max-Planck Institute for Mathematics, and roles at the Institute for Advanced Research and the G30 Program.
His work explores algebraic structures of MZVs, combinatorial interpretations, and regularized series like Eisenstein-type functions. Upcoming engagements include organizing and participating in international conferences such as the Kagoshima Mould Theory Seminar (2025) and the Meeting in the Middle (2026), highlighting his leadership in bridging characteristic 0 and p research.
He teaches courses including Elementary Number Theory, Linear Algebra I, and seminars on modular forms within the G30 Program, reflecting his commitment to educating the next generation of mathematicians.
