Dr. Henriette Mehlan serves as a Scientific Associate at the Chair of Communication Studies within the Institute of Political and Communication Science at the University of Greifswald. She has maintained a research position at the university since January 2011 and earned her PhD in November 2017 with a dissertation titled 'Social Movements in Media Society. Communication as a Key Concept in a Theory of Social Movements.'
Her research expertise centers on Communication Studies and Media Studies, with specialized focus on Social Movements and Political Communication.
