Henk P. Huinink

Henk P. Huinink is an Associate Professor at Eindhoven University of Technology in the Applied Physics and Science Education department, where he leads research on thermochemical energy storage materials. His work focuses on phase transitions in crystal hydrates for developing efficient thermal batteries.

Research examines fundamental physical principles governing heat storage materials, particularly salt hydrates and their composites. Current investigations target material stabilization, thermal conductivity enhancement, and nucleation promotion to improve power output and cyclic stability of thermochemical storage systems.
