Heng Zhang

Dr. Heng Zhang is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Regensburg under Prof. Rupert Huber. He holds a PhD in Molecular Spectroscopy from the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research (2018–2022) and degrees in Optical Engineering (Tianjin University) and Applied Physics (Shandong University of Science and Technology).

• Research focuses on optoelectronic materials, including perovskites and 2D materials.
• Investigates charge carrier dynamics, polaron physics, and energy transfer mechanisms.

Recent work includes studies on graphene-perovskite heterostructures and hot hole mobility in double perovskites. His publications appear in Advanced Materials, ACS Energy Letters, and Science Advances. Future research aligns with the Huber Group’s exploration of quantum materials and nanoscale optoelectronics.
