Hendrik W. Lenstra

Hendrik W. Lenstra is a Professor of Fundamental and Applied Mathematics at Leiden University since 2003, following prior professorships at the University of California, Berkeley (1987-2003) and the University of Amsterdam (1978). His research focuses on computational number theory, with notable contributions to elliptic curve factorization and lattice basis reduction algorithms.
