معرفی
Hendrik Krause is a scientific assistant at the Institute for Process Data Processing and Electronics (IPE), affiliated with the Karlsruhe School of Elementary Particle and Astroparticle Physics: Science and Technology (KSETA), Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). His research focuses on advanced FPGA-based readout systems for high-energy physics detectors, particularly for the CMS Level-1 Trigger (L1T) in the High-Luminosity LHC (HL-LHC) project.
- Education: Master of Science (2023) from KIT with thesis on heterogeneous Multi-FPGA systems; Bachelor of Science (2021) from Heilbronn University.
- Research: Develops firmware for the Serenity ATCA board, enabling high-speed data processing for CMS sub-detectors. Explores machine learning integration in FPGA-based trigger algorithms.
- Collaborations: Works with Imperial College London on CMS Silicon Tracker and High-Granularity Calorimeter projects.
Publications include work on cross-chip dynamic function exchange and FPGA reconfiguration. His co-authorship distances reveal links to Paul Erdős (distance 5) and Edsger Dijkstra (distance ≥4).
