Dr. Hend Eltanamly is an Assistant Professor in Developmental Psychology at Utrecht University's Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences. Her research focuses on the impact of extreme adversity (e.g., war and refuge) on parental cognitions, parent-child interactions, and child development. She employs mixed-methods approaches including longitudinal studies, meta-analyses, and qualitative research. Key projects include investigating refugee identity development and narrative resilience.
