Helle Møller is an Associate Professor in Health Sciences at Lakehead University with expertise in medical anthropology. Her research examines health equity issues in Northern Ontario, maternal care access for Indigenous communities, climate change impacts on health systems, and urban Inuit wellbeing.
Current interdisciplinary projects include: investigating barriers to maternal healthcare in Northwestern Ontario; evaluating accessibility of free physical activity programs for seniors; analyzing climate change perceptions among Lake Superior communities; documenting urban Inuit health experiences; and exploring justice system involvement among homeless women.
