Helge Julius Jakhelln Dyvik is a Professor of General Linguistics at the University of Bergen, Norway, where he has held a faculty position since 1983. His research spans foundational and applied linguistics, with expertise in Old Norse syntax, computational linguistics, semantics, and machine translation.
