Helga Jordan

Helga Jordan is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Mineral and Energy Resources Engineering, Instituto Superior Técnico (University of Lisbon). She specializes in sustainable georesources engineering, integrating geospatial data science, mining planning, and mineral processing. Her research focuses on applying advanced computational methods like Bayesian neural networks and generative adversarial networks to geological modeling and resource recovery challenges. She is affiliated with the Center for Natural Resources and Environment (CERENA) and teaches courses such as Geospatial Data Science and Design of Mineral Processing Facilities.
