Helena Örnkloo

Helena Örnkloo is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Psychology and Social Work, Mid Sweden University. Her research focuses on child trauma, emotional development, and bilingual cognition across diverse populations.

• Cross-linguistic emotional recognition
• Visuospatial cognition in preterm children
• Global mental health patterns
• Gender dynamics in trauma recovery

Active participant in the Child Trauma Network with publications spanning developmental psychology and clinical psychotraumatology.
