Helen Tracey is an Assistant Professor at Northumbria University's Leadership and Human Resource Management Department. She holds an MSc in Human Resource Management (2015) and currently serves as an External Examiner at multiple UK universities, including the University of Derby (2022-2026).
Her work bridges historical analysis and contemporary policy, addressing unemployment stigma in the Northeast of England. Research interests include exploring how libraries act as third spaces to support identity exploration beyond unemployment, advocating for equitable welfare practices.
