Dr. Helen S. Te is a Professor at the University of Chicago in the Department of Medicine-Gastroenterology. Since 2000, she has been a faculty member at the University of Chicago Medicine and has directed the Adult Liver Transplant Program since 2006. Her clinical expertise spans general hepatology and transplant hepatology, with a focus on cirrhosis and liver transplant recipients, where she employs personalized approaches and nimble innovations. Dr. Te is a peer-recognized top doctor (America’s Top Doctor and Chicago Magazine Top Doctor since 2011) and an advocate for patients with chronic liver conditions.
