Dr. Helen Monkman is an Assistant Professor and Undergraduate Advisor in the School of Health Information Science at the University of Victoria. She holds a PhD from the same institution and undergraduate/MA degrees in Psychology from Carleton University. Her research focuses on improving consumer health information systems through human factors, usability, and user experience principles. Key areas include eHealth literacy, information visualization, and designing systems to reduce cognitive demands for users.
