Helen Jansson

Helen Jansson is an Associate Professor at Chalmers University of Technology, affiliated with the Division of Building Technology and the Building Materials research group, where she conducts experimental investigations into sustainable construction materials.

Her research centers on material properties with specialized focus on green cementitious materials and phase change materials (PCMs), targeting reduced environmental impact in construction and enhanced building energy efficiency through innovative material science. This work addresses critical sustainability challenges in the built environment by developing low-carbon alternatives to traditional cement and thermal energy storage solutions.
