Dr Helen Hoyle is a Lecturer in Healthy Urban Landscapes at the School of Architecture and Landscape, University of Sheffield. With a PhD from the University of Sheffield and academic credentials including a PG Certificate in Academic Practice from UWE Bristol, she specializes in integrating human wellbeing, biodiversity, and climate resilience in urban environments.

Helen's recent work spans 2015-2025, covering topics like parkrun health benefits, pollinator habitat creation, and educational arboretum-meadow projects. Her publications analyze meadow design impacts, biodiversity perception, and sustainable urban planning approaches.
