Helen Carson

Helen Carson is a PhD Researcher at the QUT Centre for Robotics, specializing in complex systems integration, autonomous systems, and software assurance for safety critical systems. She holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Aerospace Avionics) First Class Honours from QUT (1999) and a Master of Science (Aerospace Engineering) from the University of Colorado (2004). Her career spans 20 years in Defence, working on military aircraft, flight simulators, and ground-based mission systems in Australia and the USA.
