Heinz Zimmermann

Prof. Dr. Heinz Zimmermann is a Full Professor of Finance at the University of Basel's Faculty of Business and Economics. He holds the Chair of Finance and has been affiliated with institutions such as the Swiss Institute of Banking and Finance and the Swiss Finance Institute. His academic journey includes roles as a lecturer, assistant professor, and associate professor at the University of St. Gallen before his appointment at Basel in 2001. He has supervised over 100 doctoral students and post-doctoral researchers, many of whom hold academic chairs.
