Heinz-Dieter Neef is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Protestant Theology, University of Tübingen, specializing in Old Testament and Hebrew language studies. He has been an academic employee at the Protestant Theological Faculty since 1981 and was appointed Associate Professor in 2000.
Dr. Neef's educational background includes:

Dr. Neef has received recognition for his scholarly contributions through his publications in prestigious academic series including Beihefte zur Zeitschrift für die alttestamentliche Wissenschaft (BZAW), Arbeiten zur Theologie (AzTh), and Biblische Theologie im Grundriss (BThSt).
Professor Neef has also contributed to language education through his Hebrew and Biblical Aramaic workbooks, which have gone through multiple editions and are standard teaching materials for biblical languages courses.
