Heillyn Camacho Nunez

Heillyn Camacho Núñez is a Part-Time Lecturer at the Department of Communication and Psychology, Aalborg University, within the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities. Her research focuses on problem-based learning methodologies, participatory design in education, and sustainable development in resource-constrained contexts. She has been involved in projects such as ODEdu (Open Data Education), MAGAART (Research Communication Capacity Building), and the Community of Integrated Blended Learning in Europe (Comble), emphasizing blended learning and digital innovation in education.

Her recent work explores hybrid learning models in universities, teacher training for student-centered approaches, and participatory methods for knowledge management systems. She has published extensively since 2008, with notable contributions on inclusive innovation in Costa Rica and Uganda, and sustainable urban development in Latin America through problem-based learning.

Heillyn collaborates with international teams on projects addressing global education challenges, combining academic research with practical applications in developing regions. Her work often intersects with digital technologies, community engagement, and systemic approaches to educational reform.
