Heiko Wagner is a Professor of Movement Science at the University of Münster since 2006. He holds a PhD in Physics (2000) and Habilitation in Social and Behavioral Sciences (2004). His research focuses on self-stability, motor control, and chronic back pain. He leads projects on biomechanics, neuromuscular modeling, and injury prevention, collaborating with institutions like CeNoS (Center for Nonlinear Science). Key contributions include studies on joint contact forces, spinal inhibition, and skateboarding interventions for ADHD.
