Heike Russ

Heike Russ is a research associate and PhD candidate at the Institute of Education, Department of School Education at Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen. She is part of Prof. Dr. Andreas Lachner's working group on 'Teaching and learning with digital media' within the DFG research unit 'Lasting Learning'. Her research focuses on integrating generative and retrieval activities to enhance inquiry-based learning in science education. She is affiliated with the Tübingen School of Education (TÜSE) and participates in the TüNaPro young academics program and the LEAD Graduate School & Research Network.

She explores how these methods can be applied in heterogeneous classrooms and evaluated through innovative assessment tools, including AI-driven analysis.
