Heidi Wittmer

Dr. Heidi Wittmer is a Professor and Deputy Head of the Department of Environmental Politics at the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research - UFZ in Leipzig, Germany. With over two decades of experience in environmental research and policy, she leads the Working Group on Land Use, Ecosystem Services and Biodiversity and serves as a UFZ Science-Policy Expert.
