Heidi Waters (MSN, RN) is a Faculty Instructor in the Department of Nursing at the University of South Dakota. With 25 years of clinical experience in rural healthcare settings, she specializes in Maternal-Newborn Care, Lactation, and Healthcare Informatics. Her teaching interests include Obstetrics, Case Management, and Quality & Safety, while her research focuses on Competency-Based Education.
